Q: I'm going to Iraq and was wondering what I can take.
A: It will depend on your unit. Some will let you take a "tough box" full of whatever we wanted. This is a 3 foot x 2 foot x 2 foot box that can be loaded on the conex and shipped three months before you leave. Consider packing a bunch of extra TA-50 as well as 6 months worth of hygiene stuff. You may also take a PS2, a 12 inch TV, a laptop and pictures of your family.
You should be able to bring your cool guy ruck but its up to your command if they’ll let you use it. Bring everything on the packing list!
Does anybody know where i can find an army barracks bag and duffle bag with my name printed on them? Does the army still use the OD duffle bag or did they switch to the acu duffle bag?

US Army is seen wearing Battle Dress Uniform (BDUs) &/or Army Combat Uniforms (ACUs), while filling up Army vehicles at a Shell gas station in San Luis Obispo, California at the corner of Santa Rosa & Foothill. They did not appear to be armed. We think they may have gone to Camp San Luis Obispo after they were done refueling, since they headed north on Highway One ... Although it is perplexing why they were using a public gas station, since we're pretty sure that Camp San Luis Obispo has it's own refueling station? Playing airsoft and am hoping to find a new ACU to wear than my current woodland BDU. Reason I am looking for a store in my area is because although it would be easy to go onto any army surplus website and purchase the shirt and pants, I'm not sure what sizes would fit best on me.
